Vaseux Lake

Just over an hour south of Kelowna, we visit a region with one of the highest species diversities in Canada – Vaseux-Bighorn Area. The Vaseux bird checklist has an astounding 205 bird species. Red-listed bird species include the American white pelican, Lewis’s woodpecker, peregrine falcon, and yellow-breasted chat.
